Event Details
Location:
The Walk will be held at the Memphis Zoo (2000 Prentiss Place, Memphis, TN 38112). Come rain, snow, or shine we will walk!
Schedule:
8:30 am – Check In
9:00 am – Walk begins
10:00 am – Special Fundraising Awards
10:10 am– Dismissal and enjoy the rest of the day at the Zoo with your friends and family!
Registration:
Participants can register online or by calling Amber 901.388.1172 ext.19. Registration fee is $15 for Adults 12 and up and $12 for children under 12. Registration includes Zoo entrance and t-shirt.
Admittance:
Please see the Life Choices table to check in before entering the zoo. The table will be located directly before entering the Zoo gates.
For non-fundraising attenders (children, spouse, friends, etc.) Zoo entrance fees will be applied at a discounted rate and will be paid to the Zoo staff upon entrance. Adults 12 and up- $12, Children 2 to 11- $8 and children under 2 are FREE.
Registered participants gain entrance for FREE! Please check in prior to entrance for your free pass.
***Zoo Members will gain entrance to Zoo for FREE. Please present Zoo passes to the Life Choices Check In table.***
Fundraising Forms:
Please bring your fundraising forms and any donations to the Life Choices table.
Incentives:
All fundraising walkers who raise $1,000 or more will be invited to a complimentary President’s Dinner at the Majestic Grille. Invitations with more information will be sent April 13, 2015.
Each fundraising walker may be eligible to receive a raffle ticket to enter a drawing for a $1,000 Visa Gift Card (must be present at Awards Ceremony post walk to win).
Eligibility for drawing:
Raise $200 receive 1 raffle ticket
Raise $400 receive 2 raffle tickets
Raise $600 receive 3 raffle tickets
Raise $750 receive 4 raffle tickets
Raise $900 receive 5 raffle tickets
Raise $1000 receive 6 raffle tickets
